I have been working to help Sir Tim Ruggles-Brise create a heritage centre and several books covering various aspects of the family history, including correspondence with Prime Ministers & royalty, and a story of an escape and return home from a POW camp in second world war Italy.
Although many articles were donated to the Essex Records Office, I have been involved in digitizing, scanning, photographing and preparing various articles, documents and photographs for the different projects.
A number of the images required for the projects were framed, behind glass, and in rare circumstances not even to be moved. This provided quite a photographic and lighting challenge.
Coats of arms
Some images for a book I'm designing, celebrating the correspondence between the Ruggles-Brise family and British Prime Ministers dating back to Walpole in the 1740s, and scans of letters, as well as photographs of royalty for a separate book.
